Mission Statement:

Mukhtar Mai Women Welfare Organization is committed to ending violence and discrimination against women, strive for women rights and empowerment. We work to connect powerless women to knowledge and resources that can improve their lives.

Objectives:

To reduce gender based violence from three Districts of South Punjab (Multan, Muzaffargarh and Dera Ghazi Khan) through advocacy, sensitization, awareness raising, media campaigns and networking.

To make women of three districts of South Punjab (Multan, Muzaffargarh and Dera Ghazi Khan) aware of their social, political, economic and legal rights.

To increase women literacy rate in three districts of South Punjab (Multan, Muzaffargarh and Dera Ghazi Khan).

Economic empowerment of women in three districts of South Punjab (Multan, Muzaffargarh and Dera Ghazi Khan).

Fight to end violence against women through “Women Crises Relief Centers”, Women Shelter, legal, medical, moral and financial support to survivor’s of violence.
Provision of basic health care services in district Muzaffargarh.

To establish a Women Resource Center in Mouza Meerwala, Tehsil Jattoi district Muzaffargarh.
